Mbabane, 13 May 2025 — Thirst Project Eswatini Country Director, Sibusiso Shiba, recently met with the Minister of Natural Resources and Energy, His Royal Highness Prince Lonkhokhela, to present the organisation’s mission and explore collaboration on sustainable water access.

During the courtesy visit, Shiba introduced the global nonprofit’s goals, which include eliminating the water crisis through access to safe drinking water, sanitation, and hygiene services across Eswatini. He shared the organisation’s vision to achieve full national coverage, reaching every community with clean water solutions.

The meeting also served as an opportunity to discuss how Thirst Project Eswatini could continue aligning its work with government efforts aimed at improving water infrastructure and quality of life, particularly in underserved areas.

The Minister welcomed the engagement, noting the organisation’s ongoing contributions to improving water access in the country.
