Mbabane- Twenty-six Taiwanese companies are expected to participate in this year’s Eswatini International Trade Fair (EITF), according to a statement issued by the trade fair organisers.
The Taiwan Pavilion will be housed at Pavilion 3 of the Mavuso Trade and Exhibition Centre when the 58th edition of EITF takes place from August 28 to September 6.
According to the EITF statement issued on Monday, nine of the companies will exhibit in person, while the remaining 17 will showcase their products through displays and catalogues.
The participating companies cover a range of industries, including renewable energy, artificial intelligence (AI), telecommunications, healthcare, agriculture, manufacturing, food processing and industrial equipment.
In a statement released by EITF, the participation is expected to provide opportunities for local businesses, retailers, distributors and investors to engage with Taiwanese companies and explore potential commercial partnerships.
Among the companies exhibiting in person is International Integrated Systems Inc. (IISI), which will showcase AI, cloud, data, environmental, social and governance (ESG), robotic process automation (RPA) and 5G AIoT technologies.
Art’s Tech Industries will display products including water-saving devices, water pumps and agricultural irrigation equipment, while Harsom Castor Farm will showcase castor beans and castor oil.
Other companies exhibiting physically include Black Ant Industry, which specialises in respiratory protective equipment; Daer Chou Health Biotechnology and Hua Niu Enterprise, which offer skincare products; Illinois Enterprises, which manufactures material-handling equipment; and Ji Zhi Management Consulting and San Pin Tian International, which offer food, health and consumer products.
The 17 companies participating through displays and catalogues include renewable-energy and technology firms.
EITF spokesperson Siphesihle Nkhabindze said the Taiwan Pavilion would provide businesses with an opportunity to identify suppliers, technologies and potential investment partners.
“The Taiwan Pavilion continues to be one of the highlights of the Eswatini International Trade Fair because it brings together companies representing a wide variety of innovative industries under one roof,” Nkhabindze said.
She encouraged businesses and members of the public to visit the pavilion to explore the products and opportunities presented by the participating companies.
This year’s EITF is being held under the theme “Unlocking Green Economy Opportunities for Sustainable Trade Promotion.”
Nkhabindze said the 2026 edition would also introduce an International Pavilion, with exhibitors from South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Rwanda, Tanzania and Mozambique.
The EITF is hosted by the Eswatini Investment Promotion Authority (EIPA) and will run for 10 days at the Mavuso Trade and Exhibition Centre in Manzini.
