MANZINI – Rising Afro-pop artist BlaqKiidNSD has officially released her latest single, Angeke Ngaphela Amandla, a powerful anthem of resilience and determination featuring rapper C2K The Rapper.
Born Samue Dlamini, BlaqKiidNSD hails from Sihluthe KaMziki and currently resides in Fairview, Manzini. She says her upbringing and experiences in Fairview have played a significant role in shaping both her character and musical identity.
“Fairview raised me with real stories. It’s a place of hustle, love, heartbreak, and hope. The streets taught me to be honest, and that honesty lives in my music,” she said.
The Afro-pop singer explained that she chose the genre because it allows her to express both pain and empowerment through music.
Since beginning her musical journey in 2015, BlaqKiidNSD has drawn inspiration from artists who embody both strength and vulnerability on stage.
She believes Afro-pop has the unique ability to tell authentic stories while connecting deeply with audiences.
Her latest offering, Angeke Ngaphela Amandla, which translates to “I Will Not Lose Strength”, was written during one of the most challenging periods of her life.
“I wrote it during a season where doubt was loud. Money was tight, challenges hit, and the voice saying ‘I’m not good enough’ was screaming. But my calling was louder,” she explained.
The song delivers a message of perseverance and encourages listeners to continue pursuing their dreams despite life’s hardships.
Featuring C2K The Rapper, the track combines heartfelt storytelling with energetic rap verses that amplify its message of hope and resilience.
