MANZINI – Fans were left dejected after South African artist Babalwa M could not perform during the Spring Bash at the Ifs Lounge on Saturday.
Event spokesperson, Vusile Maziya, confirmed the rumours of her arriving late for the show but said that these were due to her flight delays.
“When she decided that we will do a make-up show, we had issues with flight delays, and as soon as we fixed that, she arrived later than expected,” he said.
Maziya also apologised to fans for the inconvenience caused.
“We will have another show featuring Babalwa M soon in Manzini,” he said.
What could have been a dampened event ended on a high note, leaving attendees with lasting memories and excitement for next year’s edition of the Spring Bash.

Despite the anticipated performance from patrons, Daliwonga game a thrilling display seen by the crowd reaction on his sets. His electrifying set had the audience dancing and singing along, making up for the earlier letdown.
He’s already held by fans in praises for his energy and stage presence.
