Manzini – Talksy Wellness, an Eswatini-owned mental health and wellness platform, is set to host the first edition of its Mental Health Empowerment Series 2025, a youth-centered training designed to equip young people with emotional resilience and self-awareness skills in an increasingly fast-paced and digitally connected world.

The event, announced by Talksy Wellness Founder and CEO Siphiwo Lushaba, will take place at the American Corner in Manzini and is open to young people aged 15 to 35. Entry is free but limited to 35 participants, offering a more personalized and engaging learning experience. Lushaba said the series aims to help young people navigate the intersection of emotional intelligence, digital wellness, and mental resilience in a world that often overwhelms the mind before it challenges the body.

Participants will engage in interactive sessions on emotional intelligence, human-centered design, mindfulness, stress management, digital wellness, and building healthy relationships. The event will be facilitated by psychology professional Pamela Simelane, who brings experience in counseling, mental health advocacy, and wellness coaching, alongside Lushaba, an award-winning entrepreneur and mental health advocate recognized for his leadership and community impact.

Lushaba described Talksy Wellness’ mission as going beyond awareness to transformation. “We are not just hosting another event; we’re cultivating a movement,” he said. “Every conversation about mental health is a step toward healing, and every young person who learns to manage their emotions becomes a pillar of strength in their community.”
