Eswatini poet and spoken word artist Bless LePoet, born Sibusiso Shongwe, has released a new track titled Imali, collaborating with producer and DJ TN$ Savvy and afro-pop singer Double TV. The single dropped on 4 August 2025 and is now available across all major digital platforms, including Spotify and TikTok.
Bless LePoet, known for his storytelling style and poetic delivery, began writing in 2021 and has since made a name for himself through performances on Uneswa FM, EBIS, and Eswatini TV. His work has also earned him nominations at the Swazi Fest Writer’s Awards and Jumbo Festival Awards, and features in local films such as Buciko Benhlitiyo and Forest Film Eswatini. Internationally, he has been profiled by Pepper Magazine in the United States and worked with artists from South Africa, Lesotho, Malawi, and Ghana.
Imali, meaning “money,” blends hip-hop and poetry while exploring how personal history, cultural background, and early life experiences shape financial habits, emotions, and decision-making. Double TV, best known for the hit On & Offs, delivers the chorus, while TN$ Savvy, a versatile Amapiano producer and audio engineer, performs the second verse. The track was recorded at WiseEagle Records and produced by TN$ Savvy.
Bless LePoet and fellow artist Bob Musician have also urged fans to stay tuned for the upcoming Bars2Bars Cypher S4. The pair are finalising production and paperwork, with Bob revealing that the project is being mixed and mastered to “world-class” standards, and King Mzesh on production duties. The release date will be announced soon.
