SIPHOFANENI – Residents of Siphofaneni now have a new financial hub closer to home as EswatiniBank officially launched its new branch in the area this week.
Community members turned out in numbers for the opening, with customers queuing early to experience the bank’s services on-site. The event took place at the new branch premises, where bank representatives, community leaders and customers gathered to mark the occasion.
EswatiniBank’s Chief Operations Officer, Zanele Dlamini, said the opening of the branch signified a new chapter for both the bank and the people of Siphofaneni. She said the institution has served the community since 2010 and continues to grow through systems, values and the strength of its team.
She said the new facility brings not only traditional banking services but also digital innovations designed to improve customer convenience. A guided tour of the branch was led by the bank’s Senior Manager for Products and Channels, Simanga Motsa, who explained how the layout caters to efficiency and accessibility.
Sphiwe Simelane, a long-time customer from the area, shared her personal story, detailing how banking with EswatiniBank since 1980 helped her acquire properties and a vehicle through instalments facilitated by the bank.
Acting Branch Manager Vusikhaya Dlamini thanked the community for their loyalty, calling the new branch a platform for deeper partnerships and improved services going forward.
Gifts of appreciation were handed to some community members who attended the ceremony.
