Mbabane: The passing away of Public Service Pension Fund (PSPF) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Langalakhe Dlamini has since been allegedly linked to COVID-19 related complications.
Langalakhe died on Sunday afternoon in a South African hospital where he was being treated.
The death of Dlamini is undoubtedly a major blow to the country as he was highly regarded for his immense experience in the fields of finance and accounting.
Dlamini took the reign of being PSPF CEO on November 1, 2018, where he replaced the now Prime Minister Cleopas Dlamini.
Before joining PSPF Dlamini worked at Swaziland National Provident Fund as General Manager Business Development Finance.
Langalakhe also worked for Eswatini Royal Insurance Corporation between 2001 and 2008 where he was an Internal Auditor and later he was Finance Manager. Before that, he was an Audit Supervisor at KPMG (Swaziland).
