Mbabane: Prime Minister Ambrose Mandvulo Dlamini has been transferred to South African hospital for fast tracking his recovery from COVID-19.
In a statement issued by the Deputy Prime Minister Themba Masuku on Tuesday, December 01, 2020, the Prime Minister was reported to be responding well to treatment after contracting COVID-19 and he remains stable.
The Prime Minister was confirmed positive of the coronavirus on November 15 and was firstly put into self-isolation at his home until the date when he was admitted at Mbabane Government hospital Intensive Care Unit. A few days after his admission at Mbabane Government Hospital, the Premier was then transferred to Lubombo Referral Hospital.
Meanwhile, the Kingdom of Eswatini has recorded a total of 6 419 cases with 122 fatalities. Among the total number of cases recorded, 6006 people have recuperated from the pandemic.
