Manzini: Zithande Athletics Club has rewarded women excellence and continued participation in athletics and fitness programs by naming its first ever woman captain for their 2021 season.

Thoko ‘TK’ Dube becomes the first female to take this technical position for the club, fondly known as the Baddest Team.
“Not just anyone can be named Captain of Zithande Athletics Club. It must be a Person who is very disciplined, dedicated and lead by example on the training field,” explained club founder Nsizwa Thwala.

Zithande Athletics Club is known for its gruelling Boot Camps and for preparing adequately long distance runners for top marathon events across the region.
