Mbabane: The third edition of the Jumbo dinner has been a huge success.

The Dinner organizer Justice “Jumbo” Khumalo has expressed his gratitude on the event and thanked all patrons for coming in their numbers and supporting the event.

“This has been an annual event which started in 2019 and 2020 was its third edition.”

Speaking to this publication Jumbo said, the dinner is a get to gather for corporate and social personalities where they come together to feast, network and enjoy good entertainment”.

“The magnitude of the dinner has shocked me, it has grown beyond to what I thought it would be, but I am very much grateful that it was a success with no incidents, and everyone enjoyed the stay as well as the occasion”.

Since inception and planning, “I would like to thank all those who supported me and ensured that everything went according to plan”. The success of the dinner was a result of a collective effort from all the teams who were planning and who were instrumental in the event.

One thing that makes the Jumbo dinner unique is that it is marked by awards. The awards categories are decided by the planning committee and individuals are selected based on merit by the planning committee.

This year the dinner saw the awards increasing from 10 going to 24 categories all with top influential persons across all sectors of society, from business, corporate to arts and fashion.

 The awards were dominated by top names which includes the likes of Macford Sibandze, Gciniwe Fakudze, Daladi Dlamini, Mbongeni Mbingo Cheeks Nxumalo, Larry Mhlanga to name but few.

The Jumbo dinner was held at Malkerns, Princess Pholile Hall on October 31 and was marked by a feast, toasting, celebrity appearance, fashion, awards, and glamorous dinner tables, with food.

Fashion was the order of the day as people come in to showcase their latest trends, as couples and some in groups. Fashion with blended musical sounds form Fakazi Samuel took the whole dinner into another level making in one of the top-class events.
