Mbabane: Giants and bitter sworn rivals Mbabane Highlanders and Mbabane Swallows are proving the busiest in the transfer market.
After their ill-fated stay with South Africa’s Glad Africa Championship side Mbombela United, the duo of Sabelo ‘Sikhali’ Ndzinisa and Njabulo ‘D4D’ Ndlovu have not wasted time to sign with new teams.
Orthodox midfielder ‘D4D’ has re-joined Swallows while quicksilver striker ‘Sikhali’ has signed with Highlanders.
“Mbabane Swallows FC would like to announce that Njabulo “D4D” Ndlovu has since rejoined the Club after serving at South Africa’s Mbombela United FC for about year. Ndlovu needs no introduction to the Swallows family since he has been a ‘Bird’ for some time now,” Swallows said in a statement.

Ndlovu said in a media briefing that, “I choose Swallows because I know that the team treats players very well; it takes good care of its players. I love the Club and I’m happy to be back. I know what is expected of me and I will deliver.”
Club Marketing and Communications Manager Mancoba Mabuza said his team is not yet done in the transfer market despite earlier arrivals of Leon Manyisa and Nhlanhla ‘Jive’ Nkosi among other deals over the line.
“The stakeholders of Swallows must know that we are still strengthening certain playing departments and we will be making few other signings to make sure that we remain a dominant club at domestic level and ready to compete with the best on the African continent. The team goes to the 2020/2021 season with some sense of renewal and enthusiasm, prepared to compete and make its supporters happy,” Mabuza said.
Highlanders Public Relations Officer (PRO) Paul ‘Magidza’ Masilela did not respond to questions sent to him in an attempt to unpack the ‘Sikhali’ deal.
