MBABANE – Eswatini’s Hip Hop scene is set for another major release as Upscale Live recording artist As 4 JerryP prepares to unveil his highly anticipated debut album, Libhungu Lemhlolo, on 28 August 2026.
The album marks a significant milestone in the young artist’s career and represents the musical journey he has undertaken since joining Eswatini-based record label and talent management company Upscale Live in 2025.
Since signing with the label, As 4 JerryP has released three singles, steadily building his profile and establishing himself as one of the country’s promising emerging Hip Hop voices. His debut album brings together some of his most notable work, including the charting single “Mlentengamunye,” “Inkhanyeti,” featuring six-time award-winning label mate Lyrikal Busta, and his latest release, “Libhungu Lemhlolo.”
The project also highlights the collaborative nature of Eswatini’s music industry. As 4 JerryP worked with acclaimed local producers SeimeStones DPR and Hlanti-Mayne, while six local artists contribute to the album, including Lyrikal Busta.
According to the label, the album offers a diverse representation of local musical talent while allowing As 4 JerryP to showcase his growth as an artist, songwriter and creative.
Fans and industry followers will get their first glimpse of the complete project before its public release when the official track list is unveiled on Friday, 21 August 2026, during an exclusive album listening session at Yini Loku in Mbabane.
The private gathering will bring together selected members of the media, industry stakeholders, artists, influencers and invited guests for a first listen to the album.
The listening session is hosted by Upscale Live and supported by Spotted Horse, ESWACOS (Eswatini Copyright and Neighbouring Rights Society) and Motion Skies Pictures, a local media house founded by Direktor Kwenu, real name Mzwandile Kunene.
With Libhungu Lemhlolo, As 4 JerryP is going beyond releasing his first full-length project. He is introducing audiences to his musical identity, personal experiences and creative evolution.
The release further reflects Upscale Live’s commitment to nurturing Eswatini’s emerging artists by investing in their development and creating platforms for their music to reach wider audiences.
Libhungu Lemhlolo will be available across major digital streaming platforms on 28 August 2026.
