Mbabane: The Three (3) men who were seen in the video clip that got social media abuzz has been arrested for carrying fake notes.
Chief Police Information and Communication Officer (PICO) Phindile Vilakati confirmed that the three men were arrested At Bhunya on Monday. Vilakati said they were found in possession of the fake E100 notes. Vilakati said on the similar incident there was also another man who was arrested for possession of dagga with a weight of 16.3 kg. “This guys were arrested in Bhunya yesterday for fake and the other one for dagga.” Vilakati said.
Vilakati added that the men reported nothing about the assault but police are still investigating on that one.
In another video that has emerged on Swaziland News on Tuesday, the man that was whipping the other men on the previous video is heard making confessions that he was indeed carrying the fake notes and he was going to buy dagga. He revealed his name as Lungelo Maziya of 32 years from Maphungwane, Siteki. Maziya said he is currently residing in South Africa but he came here in the Kingdom to buy dagga.
