Nhlangano: 24 schools in the Shiselweni Region are set to benefit from a donation of 5000 face masks by Shiselweni II Inkhundla.

The donation was handed over to beneficiaries by Member of Parliament Strydom Mpanza as well as the Shiselweni II inner council on September 22, 2020.

The schools that will benefit from the donations are both high and primary schools within the Shiselweni II Inkhundla. The donations come after the schools approached the Member of Parliament, Strydom Mpanza to solicit support of this form.

In an interview with this publication, Mpanza confirmed they had made the donation to the schools, in efforts to collaborate with the government in the fight against the pandemic. “I was approached by two representatives for the schools where they requested that we support them, in as far as the provisioning of PPE is concerned for schools.
