MBABANE – Gospel music lovers in Eswatini are in for a spiritually uplifting experience as celebrated South African gospel sensation Dr Tumi is set to headline a major revival and worship concert in Mbabane this July.

The highly anticipated event will take place at Mbabane Alliance Church on Sunday, 5 July 2026, and is already generating excitement among worshippers and gospel music fans across the country.

Organised by Kufeziwe Communications, the concert forms part of the organisation’s 2026 vision themed “A Year of Revival.” The event is expected to attract hundreds of attendees for an evening filled with worship, praise and live ministry from 5PM until late.

Speaking exclusively to this publication, local gospel icon and Kufeziwe Communications representative Linda Dlamini described Dr Tumi as a powerful gospel minister whose music continues to inspire believers across Southern Africa.

Born Tumisang Victor Makweya in Seshego, Limpopo in South Africa, Dr Tumi has become one of Africa’s most recognised gospel artists. Apart from his successful music career, he is also a motivational speaker and a qualified medical doctor.

Known for his soul-stirring worship songs and emotional live performances, Dr Tumi has built a loyal fan base through music that resonates deeply with audiences in churches and gospel gatherings alike. Over the years, he has also received several gospel music awards for his contribution to the industry.

Dlamini further revealed that the concert lineup will also feature a vibrant blend of local and international gospel artists, although supporting acts are expected to be announced closer to the event date.

Tickets for the revival night are already available at E250 and can be purchased at Galito’s outlets in Manzini, Ezulwini, Matsapha and Mbabane, as well as through Smart Ticket.

With anticipation continuing to build, the concert is expected to become one of Eswatini’s biggest gospel and worship gatherings of 2026, offering attendees not only entertainment, but also a night of spiritual revival and inspiration.
