Mbabane – Popular local artist Cool Drop has officially announced his departure from True Classic Entertainment, marking a new chapter in his career as an independent artist.
In a public statement shared with fans and supporters, the musician confirmed that the decision was made after careful consideration and is aimed at focusing on the continued growth and development of his brand.
“To all my fans, supporters, and everyone who has been part of my journey, I would like to formally inform you of my decision to part ways with True Classic Entertainment,” he wrote. “This decision comes as a step toward focusing on the continued growth and development of my brand as an independent artist.”
Cool Drop expressed sincere appreciation for the support and opportunities he received during his time with the team, describing the journey as meaningful and impactful to his career.
“I want to express my sincere appreciation for the support, opportunities, and collaboration we have shared during my time with the team. The journey has been meaningful, and I value the role True Classic Entertainment has played in my career,” he stated.
He was quick to clarify that the split is amicable and not driven by conflict.
“This decision does not come from any negativity, and there is absolutely no bad blood between us. I remain open to future collaborations and believe there is still great potential for us to work together in different capacities moving forward,” he added.
On his social media platforms, the artist further addressed speculation about his absence from the label’s activities.
“Greetings fam. A lot of people have been asking about my absence from the team. After careful consideration, I’ve decided to part ways with True Classic Entertainment. Grateful for the journey, but I’m now independent. New music coming soon, Thank you,” he wrote.
