NHLANGANO – Emerging Amapiano duo RD MUZIQ is steadily carving its name into Eswatini’s dance music scene with high-energy performances and a distinctive sound rooted in passion and perseverance.
The duo, made up of Ngcebo Simelane, popularly known as Lilkid, and Cebolenkhosi Dlamini, known on stage as CxxlBoi, hail from Nhlangano. United by their love for dance music, the pair officially began their journey in 2020, inspired by the South African Amapiano sensation Amaroto, made up of Reece Madlisa and Zuma.
Drawing influence from the dynamic energy and street-inspired sound of their role models, RD MUZIQ developed a unique Amapiano style that blends infectious log drums, catchy hooks and electrifying stage presence. The duo says they are widely known for their “special crazy moves” on stage, a performance element that sets them apart and keeps fans entertained.
Although they started their musical journey in 2020, the duo officially began releasing music in 2025. Since then, they have dropped several tracks that are steadily gaining traction. Among their releases are “VUKA” featuring DJ SamStaff and Rista-V, “POISON” featuring DJ SamStaff, and “KHUZEKA.”
Their latest single, “S’PHALAPHALA,” marks another milestone in their growing catalogue. The track was recorded, mixed and mastered by TN$ Savvy in Matsapha, Kwaluseni, while the beat was produced by DJ SamStaff from Nhlangano. The song showcases their evolving sound, vibrant, rhythmic and crafted for the dancefloor.
“S’PHALAPHALA” is now available on major digital streaming platforms including Spotify, YouTube Music, Shazam and Apple Music, giving both local and international audiences access to their music.
With clear ambition to make waves in the industry, RD MUZIQ says their goal is to take their sound beyond Nhlangano and establish themselves as a force in the Amapiano movement.
