Israeli attacks on Lebanon on Wednesday were a “grave violation” of the agreement, Iran’s deputy foreign minister tells the BBC. Saeed Khatibzadeh accuses Israel of a “massacre” in Lebanon – 203 people were killed on Wednesday, according to the health ministry. Khatibzadeh also says the Strait of Hormuz will reopen if the US withdraws its “aggression” . A moment is likely to come when Washington asks Israel to refrain from further violence.
