Mbabane: The most travelled mentor and former Mbabane Highlanders’ coach Zenzele “Ace” Dlamini has joined newly promoted side Tabankulu Callies as Technical Director.
Dlamini was unveiled during the team’s end of year party held at Magadzavane Lodge at Siteki. The veteran coach was unveiled by Tabankulu Callies chairman, Sithembiso ‘Ngudze’ Mamba at the colourful event.
Dlamini said he did not join the team to unseat the current technical bench, but to assist them in the technical part. ”I am not here to unseat the current couches but to work with them. I will not violate any principles of the club. We will work together to take the club to the next level” he said. He also said he is there to assist the team to win trophies.
Another guest at the event was national team assistant couch Gcina “Magiyane” Dlamini. Dlamini when delivering his speech said, Tabankulu Callies players must be exemplary to the society and also they must now know that they are now role models, so they must know that when doing wrong things they are destroying the lives of the young ones who are looking at them.
