The meeting between the leaders lasted about two hours. The Kingdom of Eswatini and Equatorial Guinea enjoy fraternal relations. At the 11th OACPS Summit, both countries contributed a sum of 6.5 million euros (approximately E130 million) towards the resuscitation of the 50-year-old organisation, which was facing financial challenges.

As Resource Mobilisation Champion, His Majesty the King rallied the 79 African, Caribbean and Pacific countries to make additional resources over and above their annual subscriptions to save the struggling organisation.

His Majesty the King concluded his visit to Equatorial Guinea by visiting the National Botanic Park. The King is expected back home today.
