SITEKI – South African singer and songwriter Mlindo the Vocalist is set to headline Espinho Restaurant and Bar’s exclusive Valentine’s Dinner Experience in Siteki on 14 February, bringing live music and fine dining together for couples in the eastern part of the Kingdom.
The announcement was made through Espinho Restaurant and Bar’s official social media platforms, confirming that the Valentine’s Premium Dinner Experience will take place on Saturday and is designed to offer lovers a full day of curated dining and entertainment.
According to the restaurant, the event will run from midday, with premium lunch and dinner service available from 12.00pm to 9.00pm. Mlindo the Vocalist will then take to the stage at 10.00pm for a live performance, followed by an after party featuring a DJ.
The experience is priced at E600 per person and includes a welcome drink on arrival, a premium dinner served with luxury accompaniments, romantic décor and a complimentary rose or chocolate per couple. Guests will also enjoy live music from one of South Africa’s well known vocalists as part of the Valentine’s celebration.
Mlindo the Vocalist, born Lindokuhle Mgedezi on 7 October 1995, rose to fame with his breakout single “AmaBlesser” from his platinum certified debut album Emakhaya. The song went on to achieve four times platinum status, securing his place in South Africa’s music industry.
His musical journey began in church at the age of four before he gained wider attention through cover songs shared on social media. This exposure later led to his signing with DJ Maphorisa’s BlaqBoy Music. His debut album Emakhaya, released in 2018, received commercial success and critical acclaim, earning several nominations at the 25th South African Music Awards, including Best Newcomer.
In 2022, Mlindo released his second album Lindokuhle, which featured collaborations with artists such as Ami Faku and Sjava, reflecting his continued growth and versatility.
Espinho Restaurant and Bar described the Valentine’s event as a refined and exclusive celebration aimed at creating memorable moments for couples through a combination of fine dining and live entertainment.
