MBABANE – South African DJ, television personality, and entrepreneur DJ Zinhle Jiyane will headline Phase 1 of the fifth edition of the Makoti Festival, organisers announced.
Local gospel star Nothando Hlophe, a former Spirit of Praise member who recently toured Taiwan and several South African provinces promoting her latest album, will join DJ Zinhle on the opening line-up.
Phase 1 also features local talents Velemiseni, Gifted Kosie, Culolami, Ash, and Nelson X, alongside Mozambique’s DJ Skywhite. The Makoti Festival executive confirmed that more artists and DJs will be revealed in the coming weeks as preparations intensify for the 25 April 2026 event at Malkerns Country Club.
The festival blends live music, fashion, and cultural exchange, celebrating Southern Africa’s creative excellence while honouring Eswatini traditions. Since its launch in April 2022, the Makoti Festival has grown into one of the country’s most anticipated annual events, welcoming audiences from across the region.
