MALVERNS – Organisers of the Makoti Festival have opened applications for performers ahead of the fifth edition of the annual cultural celebration.
Festival Director Thembinkosi Mthethwa said artists from all genres are invited to apply through the festival’s official website, www.makotifestival.com, for a chance to perform at the Malkerns Country Club on April 25, 2026.
The festival, presented by NewLife Entertainment in partnership with the Illa PenBoy Foundation, promises a full day of live music, fashion, and cultural exchange showcasing Southern African creativity. Tickets are on sale via Computicket, Howler, Moja Ticket, and the festival’s website. Prices for general access range from E200 in Phase 1 to E300 in Phase 3, while VIP tickets cost between E500 and E750.
Organisers have promised upcoming announcements on headline artists, DJs, and special guests as the festival draws closer. Last year’s fourth edition featured performers from Eswatini, South Africa, Lesotho, Botswana, and Mozambique, blending local and international talent in a family-friendly celebration rooted in Eswatini tradition.
