Big Bend police have arrested four suspects from the Manzamnyama area in connection with a house breaking and theft at LTA Supermarket, while a separate operation in Nhlangano led to the arrest of two suspects linked to a school computer lab break in.
According to the Royal Eswatini Police Service, the Big Bend incident occurred on December 29, 2025, at about 0800 hours. The suspects, aged 27, 27, 18 and 17, allegedly gained entry into LTA Supermarket through the roof and stole cash amounting to E27,723. During their arrest, police recovered E18,122 of the stolen money.
In the Shiselweni Region, Nhlangano police arrested a 26 year old man from Mhlabuyaduma together with an 18 year old from Ncangosini following a break in at Nhlangano Central Primary School. The crime was discovered on December 29, 2025, at about 1300 hours after the school’s computer laboratory was broken into. Property valued at E41,200 was reported stolen. Police later recovered all the stolen items during the arrest of the suspects.
Police said the swift arrests in both Big Bend and Nhlangano were a result of quick response by officers on the ground. The suspects in both cases are expected to appear before court as investigations continue.
