Mbabane – The Minister of Education and Training, Honourable Owen Nxumalo, has released the 2025 Eswatini Primary School Assessment Grade 7 results, marking the first cohort assessed under the Competency-Based Education curriculum.
Shiselweni Region topped the nation with 91 percent of learners achieving Sufficient and above, followed by Manzini at 90 percent, Hhohho at 85 percent, and Lubombo at 83 percent. Nationally, 87.3 percent of candidates reached Sufficient and above, improving from 83.15 percent in 2024.
Among the high-achieving candidates, several schools recorded notable performances. Thembelisha Preparatory School in Manzini saw Nelisa Dlamini and Sikhatsisakhe Dlamini both achieving 92 percent, while Alwande Dlamini scored 91 percent. Nhlangano Evangelical Christian, Khetsiwe Private Primary, Khanyisa Primary, Eqinisweni Primary, Achievers Primary, Manzini Infant Practising, Sidvokodvo Railway Primary, Unique Academy Primary, and Mpaka Railway Primary all had candidates scoring 91 percent. Manzini Nazarene Primary School and The Peak Primary School had top performers achieving 90 percent.
