Eswatini records 69 new COVID-19 cases, number stands at 2775

Mbabane: Minister of Health Lizzy Nkosi has announced 69 new COVID-19 cases.

In the daily reports, the Ministry of Health reported that the number of confirmed cases in the country has gone up to 2772, as of August 02. Nkosi reported that this new cases come from the 401 results received on this date.

According to the daily reports by the Ministry, total recoveries recorded stands at 1214 so far.

Notably, Manzini region still stands as the worse-hit region of the country as there are currently 1273 cases recorded from the region. However, Hhohho region has also seen a very significant increase in the number of confirmed as there are now 1106 cases recorded from the Hhohho region. Shiselweni and Lubombo regions have reported 208 and 188 cases respectively.
