TS Galaxy playmaker Puso Dithejane and Orlando Pirates head coach Abdeslam Ouaddou have been named the Betway Premiership Player and Coach of the Month for November and December, securing their second accolades of the season.
Dithejane, who has been in outstanding form, edged out strong competitors including Pirates forward Oswin Appollis and AmaZulu’s Athini Maqokolo. The attacking midfielder scored once and delivered two assists across the two-month period, driving Galaxy into the top-eight bracket heading into the Christmas break.
On the touchline, Ouaddou continued his impressive run with back-to-back coaching honours. The Pirates mentor guided his side to four wins and a draw in five matches, ensuring the Buccaneers closed the year at the summit of the Betway Premiership. He won ahead of Polokwane City’s Phuthi Mohafe and AmaZulu coach Arthur Zwane.
The Betway Premiership Goal of the Month went to 20-year-old Cemran Dansin for his sensational long-range volley in Pirates’ 1–1 draw with Mamelodi Sundowns on 1 November—a strike that also drew international attention. All winners were selected by an independent panel of PSL-accredited journalists and broadcasters.
