MBABANE — Mark the date! The Makoti Festival officially returns on 25 April 2026 for its fifth edition. It will still be at the Malkerns Country Club where people can expect a refreshed, dynamic celebration blending culture, live entertainment, fashion, and modern womanhood.
Festival Director, Thembinkosi Mthethwa, revealed that initial tickets will be available across all major selling platforms this week with organisers confirming that tickets will go live this Friday, 28 November 2025, urging the public to purchase early.
He added that fans should expect a series of exciting announcements in the coming weeks, including the reveal of artists, DJs, and special guests who will headline the 2026 edition.
“Next year’s build-up officially kicks off, and people must watch this space for more updates,” Mthethwa said.
Earlier this year, the fourth edition of the Makoti Festival was successfully held on 26 April 2025, at the same venue, bringing together locan and international artists and DJs.
Since its inception in April 2022, the Makoti Festival has grown into one of the region’s most influential cultural events. Tickets for the 5th edition will be available on Howler, Instacash, Computicket, Mojaticket, and the festival’s official website.
