Mbabane – Special Olympics Eswatini has received a certificate of appreciation from Langalethu Charity Organization, a recognition that celebrates the two institutions’ collaborative efforts to promote inclusion and empowerment for people with disabilities.
The certificate was officially handed over by Langalethu’s Finance Officer, Gcebile Kunene, and Public Relations Officer, Samkelo Mhlanga. It was accepted by Special Olympics Eswatini’s Finance Officer, Sibusiso Mhlanga, during a brief ceremony at the organisation’s Manzini offices, where both teams expressed gratitude for the partnership.
On the Special Olympics Eswatini Facebook page, they mentioned that the recognition marks an important milestone for Special Olympics Eswatini, reaffirming its commitment to breaking stereotypes, expanding opportunities, and supporting individuals with disabilities to reach their full potential.
Officials described the honour as a motivating force that strengthens their resolve to continue driving programmes that uplift and empower communities across the country.
According to the two organisations, the award also reflects the broader impact of collaboration in advancing social inclusion, as joint initiatives have created platforms that promote dignity, visibility, and equal participation for people living with disabilities.
Special Olympics Eswatini said it remains deeply appreciative of its partnership with Langalethu Charity Organization, noting that such alliances are key to building a more inclusive and equitable society.
