Mbabane – The e-Government Director at the Ministry of Information, Communications and Technology, Mr. Bonga Ndlangamandla, served as Guest of Honour at the IRDM College Job Fair on Friday, 21 November 2025. The event showcased 30 young talents trained under the Talent 4 Startups Digital Africa Program offered by Tofara Online.

The job fair provided a platform for students to connect with potential employers and explore entrepreneurial opportunities. Talent 4 Startups – Digital Africa is a programme offering scholarships and practical training in high-demand digital skills to young Africans, preparing them for careers in the tech and startup sectors while fostering self-reliance.

Mr. Ndlangamandla described the programme as an investment in the future of Eswatini’s digital economy. “Digital Africa, through this programme, has boldly stepped forward to equip young people with high-demand skills such as digital marketing, content creation, online branding, e-commerce, and remote service delivery. These are not just skills for jobs — these are skills for self-reliance. Skills that allow you to start businesses, offer services online, and support companies and entrepreneurs across Africa and beyond. This programme is more than training; it is a doorway into the digital economy.”

He added that the Ministry of ICT is committed to creating an environment where technology drives socio-economic development. “We are expanding broadband coverage, rolling out connectivity in schools, digitising government services, and promoting inclusive digital participation for all Emaswati. These efforts are meant to ensure that young people like you can harness digital tools to learn, innovate, and create livelihoods.”
