Pretoria, South Africa – Mbabane The PELUM Eswatini Country Coordinator, Sandile Sihlongonyane, took part in the third and final TEAM3C Project Workshop hosted by the Agricultural Research Council in Pretoria, South Africa, from 17 to 21 November 2025. The event was sponsored by GIZ SADC/Botswana.
The workshop brought together stakeholders from Eswatini, Zambia, and South Africa under a regional initiative run by the Agricultural Research Council in partnership with the University of Eswatini and Zambia College of Agriculture-Monze. The programme, which ran from 2023 to 2025, aimed to develop and pilot a harmonised training curriculum on climate-smart agriculture and climate-sensitive natural resource management.
Through field visits and technical discussions, participants explored practical innovations that can help farmers adapt to and mitigate the effects of climate change.
