Johannesburg – Eswatini model scout and pageantry mentor Mbalenhle Kimberley Manana has been selected as one of the lead judges for the Miss Inspiration South Africa Grand Finale scheduled for December 13. The event is expected to draw contestants from across the region, and her appointment places a local industry leader at the centre of one of the continent’s notable beauty platforms.
Manana, who heads Top Models Eswatini and the Johannesburg based Top Africa Models, has built a reputation as one of Africa’s most respected modelling and fashion development figures. Her work includes grooming young talent, producing fashion shows, and managing models who have gone on to international stages.
Her return to the Miss Inspiration SA judging panel follows years of involvement in regional pageantry. She is among the continent’s celebrated female leaders, having been recognised among the Top 100 Female African Change Makers and honoured with awards for her role in shaping modelling and pageantry. She also received the Woman King of Africa title, acknowledging her influence in the industry.
Speaking about her role, she said the competition offers an opportunity to recognise the determination and aspirations of young women. She added that each year’s finalists carry more than beauty and that the crown serves as a platform for growth and impact.
Her judging expertise has been sought beyond South Africa. She recently participated in the Mr and Miss Lesotho Unite contest alongside former Mr Tourism Africa winners from South Africa and Zimbabwe, where she was invited to crown the winner.
This year’s Miss Inspiration SA judging team also includes Khalisho Setlogelo, the 2021 title holder, and Chanel Engelbrecht.
