Manzini – The Eswatini Electricity Company (EEC) has confirmed that its electricity vending services have been fully restored after a network issue temporarily disrupted access to its token purchase platforms.
The company announced on Tuesday that all systems are now secure, stable, and fully operational. The disruption, which affected customers’ ability to buy electricity tokens, was traced to an external supply issue caused by copper theft, not an internal system failure.
EEC thanked customers for their patience during the disruption, acknowledging the inconvenience caused. The utility company assured the public that it remains committed to providing reliable, uninterrupted service.
Customers can now purchase tokens through all standard platforms, including digital and mobile channels. EEC encouraged users to resume normal transactions and contact customer support for any further assistance.
