MANZINI – Limkokwing University of Creative Technology (LUCT) celebrated its12th graduation ceremony for the Class of 2025 today at the Mavuso Trade and Exhibition Centre. The event, held under the theme “Empowered to Innovate – Designing the Future of Excellence,” honoured 1,014 graduates for their academic and creative achievements.
The ceremony was graced by the Prime Minister, Russell Mmiso Dlamini, Minister of Education and Training, Owen Nxumalo and other various cabinet ministers, alongside representatives of industries, including Manzini Municipal Council officials, as well as LUCT officials.
The graduates themselves, accross their different faculties, were adorned in their academic regalia symbolising academic achievement and tradition in accordance with the institution. There was also the first degree cohort, with students attaining the BA in Professional Communication, along with the second cohorts of the BSc in Information Technology and BBus in International Business programmes.
According to the university, the Class of 2025 represents a diverse community of students from Eswatini, Burundi, Congo, and Zimbabwe. The graduates were drawn from four faculties , Information & Communication Technology (334), Business & Globalization (300), Design & Innovation (97), and Communication & Media (283).
As part of its commitment to holistic education, the university presented special awards to 50 outstanding graduates who excelled academically and demonstrated exceptional leadership, creativity, and innovation. Among these were the Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Paduka Limkokwing Awards for Academic Excellence, Extraordinary Achievement, Creativity and Innovation, and Leadership, as well as the University Colours Award for Command Performance.
