Mbabane – Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini has revealed that a delegation of investors from the Republic of China, Taiwan, visited the Kingdom of Eswatini on Tuesday, 11 November 2025, to assess a site earmarked for the development of a new industrial park.

The meeting was held at the Private and Cabinet Office in Mbabane, where the Prime Minister formally welcomed the investors. The visit marks a major step in Eswatini’s partnership with Taiwan, which is supporting the establishment of the industrial park as part of broader efforts to boost the Kingdom’s industrial capacity and economic diversification.

During their courtesy call, the investors expressed their satisfaction with the identified site and their eagerness to establish operations in Eswatini. Prime Minister Dlamini said the government was delighted to receive them and deeply appreciated their commitment to contribute to Eswatini’s future.

“We warmly welcomed them to our beautiful Kingdom and expressed our sincere appreciation for their commitment to invest in our country’s future,” Dlamini said. He extended gratitude to the Government of the Republic of China, Taiwan, for its continued support toward Eswatini’s development.
