Mbabane: After everything has been said and done, Mbabane Swallows have confirmed the signing of midfielder Leon Manyisa.
Manyisa who was in the centre of a transfer battle between the country’s big three; former side Manzini Wanderers, Mbabane Highlanders and Swallows has finally landed in the ‘Birds Nest’ on a one-year loan deal from parent club FC Vovovo.
Manyisa had become the most sought after player in recent months after stints with Armenian side FC Van and trials with La Liga giants in Spain Real Madrid and South Africa’s Absa Premiership outfit Highlands Park.
In a statement released by Swallows’ Head of Marketing and Communications Manqoba Mabuza, the red and white giants confirm that everything is now in black and white- effectively ending months of speculation.

It will seem Swallows are not done in the market as Mabuza continued that, “We assure our fans that we are still looking at strengthening our current squad and once all signings have been concluded the club president (Bheki Lukhele) shall accordingly unveil all the players in a manner that is consistent with the Swallows culture of doing things”.
