Mbabane – The countdown has begun for the Limkokwing University of Creative Technology 12th graduation ceremony which will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at the Mavuso Trade and Exhibition Centre.
A total of 1,014 students of the class of 2025 will graduate under the theme “Empowered to Innovate – Designing the Future of Excellence.”
The event, is announced to begin at 10:00 AM, marking a major milestone for the institution as it celebrates its first-ever cohort of degrees, Bachelor of Arts in Professional Communication, alongside the second cohorts of the BSc in Information Technology and BBus in International Business programmes.
According to the university, the ceremony will not only recognise academic achievement but also showcase Limkokwing’s contribution to Eswatini’s development through producing “skilled, forward-thinking and innovative graduates who will drive the nation forward.”
The class of 2025 represents a blend of local and international students from countries such as Burundi, Congo, and Zimbabwe. The graduates are distributed across four faculties:
- Faculty of Information & Communication Technology: 334
- Faculty of Business & Globalization: 300
- Faculty of Design & Innovation: 97
- Faculty of Communication & Media: 283
As part of its tradition of celebrating all-round excellence, 50 graduates will receive special awards for outstanding performance in academics, leadership, innovation, and creativity. Among these are the Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Paduka Limkokwing Awards for Academic Excellence, Extraordinary Achievement, Creativity and Innovation, and Leadership. The University Colours Award for Command Performance will also be presented to students who excelled in competitions, sports, and creative projects.
Limkokwing’s educational model is centred on three key pillars: academic and creative rigour, entrepreneurial mindset, and mastery of modern technology. These ensure that graduates are equipped to thrive in both local and international markets.
Students also benefit from initiatives like the Student Ambassador Programme, which connects them with professional networks, and a range of clubs and societies that promote balanced personal and professional development.
The university emphasized that its approach aligns with Eswatini’s vision for sustainable national development by nurturing globally competitive graduates who are also responsive to the Kingdom’s needs.
Limkokwing University extended its “heartfelt congratulations” to the Class of 2025, expressing pride in their achievements and confidence in their ability to “design a future of excellence.”
