MBABANE — Nsingizini Hotspurs coach Mandla Qhogi has urged his players to build mental resilience following a narrow 1–0 defeat to Green Mamba at King Sobhuza II Stadium. He said turning setbacks into motivation will be key to long-term success.
Qhogi, who hails from South Africa, noted that while the team has shown promising performances this season, consistency remains a challenge. He told players that mindset is as important as physical preparation, stressing that focus, discipline, and belief are vital for competing for the league and returning to CAF competitions.
“Every team wants to win the league, but it’s the mental side that separates the best from the rest,” Qhogi said.
Green Mamba coach Bongani Mhlongo praised his team for determination and composure, calling the victory a reward for teamwork.
Hotspurs now prepare to host Amawele, while Green Mamba will face Ubombo Sugar, with Qhogi focused on cultivating a winning mentality that lasts beyond individual matches.
