Manzini police have arrested a 41-year-old man from Murray Camp on charges under the Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence Act of 2018. The suspect is accused of sexually assaulting two girls, both aged 15, in separate incidents.
On the morning of October 20, 2025, around 7am, the man approached one of the victims while she was at her mother’s market stall. He convinced her to enter his house claiming she was to collect money owed to her mother. Inside, he allegedly sexually violated her. A nearby resident found the distressed girl crying and, after hearing her story, informed the victim’s mother. The girl was taken to hospital for urgent medical care.
Later that same day at about 8pm, the suspect reportedly used similar tactics to lure another 15-year-old girl to his home and forced himself on her. Investigations showed the suspect had previously assaulted this second victim, indicating a pattern of abuse.
The man fled the area after the assaults but was apprehended on November 3, 2025, at 2pm by concerned citizens who handed him over to police. He remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in the Manzini Magistrates Court today.
