Mbabane – At least eight Nhlanganisweni High School pupils who were passengers in a public transport servicing Mbabane and the school route were today involved in a minor accident, Eswatini TV reported.
Three passengers got first aid attention.
Samkelo Dlamini, the driver, said he lost control on the steep hill and reversed, following a disturbance from a motorist behind him.
He said he was forced to divert the kombi he was driving onto a wall fence at a nearby homestead.
An eyewitness, Jabulani Maseko, said the accident could have been prevented had the motor vehicle driver coming behind could have been cooperative.
“He then went straight towards the wall. The passengers, however, were not badly injured. Three got medical attention. No one died,” he said.
By the time of compiling this report, the police had not confirmed the report.
