Mumbai, India – South Africa’s women’s cricket team will bowl first against hosts India in the Women’s Cricket World Cup final on Sunday after winning the toss. The match was delayed by two hours due to rain, but organisers confirmed a full 50-over game for each side, provided weather conditions remain stable.

Both teams have kept their squads from the semifinals, though India made minor adjustments in their batting order ahead of the trophy contest. South Africa reached the final after a dominant 125-run win over England in Guwahati, while India edged out defending champions Australia by five wickets in Mumbai.

The Proteas line-up features captain Laura Wolvaardt, Tazmin Brits, Anneke Bosch, Sune Luus, Marizanne Kapp, Sinalo Jafta, Annerie Dercksen, Chloe Tryon, Nadine de Klerk, Ayabonga Khaka, and Nonkululeko Mlaba. India fields Smriti Mandhana, Shafali Verma, Amanjot Kaur, captain Harmanpreet Kaur, Jemimah Rodrigues, Deepti Sharma, Richa Ghosh, Radha Yadav, Kranti Gaud, Shree Charani, and Renuka Singh.
