MBABANE – The Ministry of Labour and Social Security has announced that personal and book allowances for students studying in local tertiary institutions through the Government Scholarship Programme will be disbursed for October 2025.
Ongoing students will receive their allowances for the month of October. First-year students at Ngwane College, William Pitcher College, Eswatini College of Technology, Good Shepherd College of Nursing, Gwamile Voctim, Botho University, Southern Africa Nazarene University, and the Institute of Development Management will also receive their payments, as processes for these institutions have been completed.
Allowances for students at other tertiary institutions are still being processed and will commence once invoices are received. Book allowances are scheduled for disbursement in November 2025 due to adjustments that needed to be made prior to payment.
The Ministry called for continued cooperation from tertiary institutions, student bodies, and parents. Students seeking clarification can contact the scholarship offices at 2404 2515.
