Mliba — A 46-year-old woman from Luve is expected to appear before the Magistrate’s Court tomorrow following her arrest in connection with the alleged sexual assault of a 15-year-old boy.
According to police, the suspect allegedly sexually assaulted the teenager several times inside a house at Luve, where she had been employed as a domestic worker.
The matter came to light on August 19, 2026, at around 8:30pm after the boy disclosed that he had allegedly been sexually assaulted.
Police said the teenager initially confided in a friend, but the matter was not formally reported. It is further alleged that the suspect later attempted to sexually assault him again, but the boy managed to escape and reported the matter to elders, who then alerted police.
An investigation was launched, resulting in the woman’s arrest on Saturday.
The suspect is scheduled to appear in court tomorrow as investigations continue.
