Swaziland Building Society Managing Director passes in the early hours of Sunday
Mbabane: A dark cloud has fallen in the banking sector as Swaziland Building Society Managing Director Timothy R. Nhleko passes on.
The Independent News Paper has established that Nhleko effectionely known as Tim to his peers passed on in the early hours of Sunday.
Nhleko has been the reigning Managing Director at Swaziland Building Society since July 2012 after taking over from the retired Joseph Ndlangamandla.
Information reaching the Independent News Desk revealed that he passed on after serving the bank as a Managing Director for a period of 8 years.
At the time of compiling this report his family could not be reached but employees and staff at the Swaziland Building Society confirmed the shocking news.
Reached for comment, Board of Directors Chairman Kenneth M. Mbuli confirmed the passing of the Managing Director. He said as the bank they are shocked by the news. He said Tim Nhleko has a good vision for the organization. He then requested the public to give the family a space to mourn the loss of one of their own.
He further mentioned that the bank will issue a statement about the funeral logistics in due course.
Although the cause of death could not be established but sources close to the matter revealed that he has not been to work only for a week. He died after a short illness.
