MBABANE– The third edition of the Biggest Braai on the Lawn is set to bring together music, food and outdoor entertainment when it takes over Mount Lucasa Lodge in Mpumalanga on Saturday, October 31, 2026.
Hosted by Melrose Studios, the annual event is shaping up to be a celebration of the South African and regional entertainment scene, with a diverse line-up of performers scheduled to take the stage throughout the day.
Among the featured acts are Naledi, Aphiwe, Sya Zwide, Umelusi, Mcebisi SA, Mshana, Cool Drop, Mr Chozen, Celza Inja Ka Gogo, Sancheziey and Phumla Music II. The programme will also feature MC Mnqobi Tsabedze, who is expected to keep the crowd entertained as the event unfolds.
Billed as the “Biggest Braai on the Lawn,” the gathering is designed around the relaxed outdoor braai experience, giving attendees an opportunity to enjoy music while spending the day with friends and family.
Organisers have encouraged revellers to come prepared with their cooler boxes, meat and friends, creating a social atmosphere where attendees can enjoy the festivities at their own pace.
The event will also feature activations in various towns ahead of the big day, with organisers promising to take the event closer to potential attendees as part of the build-up to the festival.
“We will be doing activations in your towns soon with you, your lineup,” the organisers said in their promotional message, encouraging fans to stay tuned for the upcoming activations.
Ticket prices have been structured to cater for different categories of attendees. Pre-sale tickets are priced at R200, while general tickets cost R250. Those purchasing tickets at the gate will pay R300. Children’s tickets are available for R50, while VIP tickets cost R650 and include a cooler box.
Tickets are available through Webtickets and Computicket, as well as selected retail outlets.
With the combination of live performances, a full-day outdoor setting and the traditional braai experience, the organisers are inviting music lovers and social groups to make plans early for what promises to be a major spring gathering in Mpumalanga.
