MBABANE – The Woman Farmer Foundation has recognised the country’s top agricultural talent at the 18th Annual Woman and Youth Farmer of the Year Awards, celebrating individuals who are driving innovation and growth in Eswatini’s agricultural sector.
Youth Farmer of the Year winners include Boniswa Malaza in first place, followed by Nontsetselelo Mamba and Phumzile Thwala. The Woman Farmer of the Year awards were claimed by Eli Olivia Dlamini in first place, with Jabu Tsabedze and Nelisiwe Mngometulu taking second and third, respectively.
The awards aim to encourage greater participation of Swazi youth and women in agriculture, showcasing role models who inspire the next generation of farmers.
The Woman Farmer Foundation extended gratitude to its sponsors, noting that their support is vital in empowering women and youth in agriculture, uplifting communities, and contributing to national economic growth.
