Washington, D.C. — The Southern African Development Community Secretariat, led by Deputy Executive Secretary for Regional Integration Ms. Angèle Makombo N’Tumba, attended the 50th Anniversary of the Arab Coordination Group in Washington, D.C., on the sidelines of the #IMFWBGMeetings2025. The milestone event brought together global stakeholders to reflect on five decades of development cooperation and discuss future collaboration.
The SADC delegation, which included Dr. Mario Lironel, Senior Programme Officer for Finance and Investment, and Ms. Feziwe Masebula, Senior Officer for Planning and Programming, engaged with partners to explore strategies for sustainable development and inclusive growth across Africa.
Ms. Makombo N’Tumba reiterated the Secretariat’s commitment to fostering partnerships that promote regional integration and support Africa’s economic development agenda.
