Mbabane – The Central Bank of Eswatini (CBE) has invested more than E150 million in local businesses as part of ongoing construction at its new headquarters in Ezulwini.
The update was shared during CBE’s 2025 Suppliers Day, where the Bank reiterated its commitment to supporting emaSwati-owned companies through fair and inclusive procurement practices.
CBE’s Deputy Director of Supply Chain, Warren Dlamini, said the investment is more than a construction project. “This isn’t just a project. It’s a promise to grow together and build Eswatini’s future from the ground up,” he said.
Dlamini confirmed that all work at the new office park has been carried out by local companies, except for surveillance and security systems. He assured suppliers that the Bank will continue prioritizing locally owned businesses.
During the event, CBE also introduced a new procurement system designed to make tender applications for suppliers more efficient and accessible.
