Mbabane – A total of 18 University of Eswatini (UNESWA) media students graduated from the institution over the weekend, fully capacitated to enter the media space.
The students forming part of the 1510 UNESWA graduates were conferred by His Majesty and UNESWA Chancellor, King Mswati III, with Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication (BA JMC) degrees during the graduation ceremony held on Saturday, October 11, at Kwaluseni Campus.
The Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, under the Faculty of Humanities, Class of 2025, consisted of 14 females and 4 males.
The BA JMC programme has three major specialisations: Advertising and Public Relations, which saw a total of 12 students graduating; Broadcasting (5); and Print (1).
The department expressed immense pride in the graduates, emphasising its long-standing tradition of producing industry-ready professionals.

“We have time and time again produced excellence, and the Class of 2025 is no different. May you be trailblazers in all the spaces you find yourselves in,” said JMC lecturer Dr Evans, wishing the graduates good luck in their future endeavours after the graduation.
